My best friend and business partner’s family have owned a farm in Clarenceville for over three generations and it prompted me to want to have a first hand look at the destruction that my friend’s family and her neighbors were facing and trying to work through and these are the pictures from that walk about. I ended up seeing the positive things that come out of such disasters, like a community and government, army, police and firemen all working together to help the worst hit and show what true hope, a little Christian charity and a whole lot of hard work can accomplish. The destruction was horrific, but these strong people will survive and they should be proud of what they have accomplished. If they were any less of a people this tragedy could have been a lot worse for all and a lot more costly in human terms. God bless them all!
